“Why did it take so long for Pharaoh to bow to the will of the God of the Israelites, who were his slaves in Egypt? One would think that one plague would have caused him to immediately let God’s people go. The answer is given to us in Exodus 9:27-28. After a number of terrible plagues, Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned this time. The Lord is righteous, and my people and I are wicked. Entreat the Lord, that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail, for it is enough. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.” Such talk would seem to show that finally he was repentant. However, Exodus 9:30 gives insight as to what was still lacking. Moses said, “But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear the Lord God.” Pharaoh saw his sin as something he had done “this time,” and in his heart, he didn’t yet fear God enough to obey Him.” ~ Ray Comfort Go And Make Disciples, End Of The Age, Comfort Quotes, Let God, Take That, Let It Be, Pharaoh, Exodus

WHY TREMBLE? For the same reason the Devil trembles, because of the judgement of God. You have to face Him some day but just believing is NOT enough. You can know the Gospel and even believe that it is true but that doesn't mean that YOU are saved. HOW CAN YOU BE SAVED? BY REPENTANCE & FAITH. 1) Repentance is a change of mind toward: GOD, SIN & SELF(Toward GOD - Realize He is Holy and must punish sin; toward SIN - Realize you are personally guilty of sinning against God; toward SELF - Realize you have no righteousness of your own). 2) Faith - trusting Christ's finished work on the cross as your only means of salvation. When you truly realize that you are a guilty sinner it will cause you to flee to Jesus. Isaiah 66:5a says, "Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at His word". Believing is not enough and neither is trembling(Acts 24:25). Repent and trust JESUS today. The Fear of the LORD is the key to true knowledge and wisdom. This doctrine is foundational and found throughout the Scriptures. The above definition is the result of an extensive study of the doctrine of the Fear of the LORD by examining every occurrence of the phrase or reference to it in the Bible. Pictured is a young A. W. Tozer. He said, "No one can know the true grace of God who has not first known the fear of God." This is true. Consider Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." and Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." If a person does not first believe that there is a God that they must one day answer to then how could they be saved? God will not find the guilty - not guilty. He is Holy, Just and Good but He would be none of these if He just ignored sin. He is so loving that He came down in the form of man and suffered the just punishment for sin for us. All your have to do is repent and receive by faith His payment of sin on your behalf. Make no mistake, He cannot and will not overlook sin. It MUST be dealt with. The Lord Is Good, Proverbs 14, Slow To Anger, Way To Heaven, The Tabernacle, The Guilty

The Bible says King Solomon was the wisest man to have lived excluding Jesus Christ. Solomon conducted an experiment in which his question was: "What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?"(Ecclesiastes 1:3). Solomon, who was the richest king in Jewish history, basically tried everything under the sun to find the real purpose of life. - His conclusion was: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13 - Can we learn from his lifelong experiment? King Uzziah, Prayer For Wisdom, Ecclesiastes 12, Kings Of Israel, King Solomon, Solomon Bible, Trinity
