Wedding Planning Consultation NZ
My Services ~ Consultation, Advice and All-round Assistance Did you know I custom build every single contract for every single couple? Because I understand that what you need may be totally different to what someone else needs - (and dare I mention that budget word...).
Repurpose Those Wedding Florals!
Repurpose those ceremony florals into your wedding reception. Whether it's taking your arch arrangement and moving it to your entrance or popping those bouquets into vases on tables, repurposing your floral and decorative elements from your ceremony into your reception is a great money saver... and it's better for the environment too.
Finding Wedding Inspiration
Sounds cheesy, but one of my favourite ways to find inspiration is outside, surrounded by nature. When you stop to look a little closer the colours pop a little different and the textures stand out from their surrounds. It's surprising how much detail there is in everyday life if you just stop to take it in.

Glamping and Multi-day Weddings
Perhaps many of the guests stayed onsite overnight, or maybe a select group were invited back in the morning for a shared brunch and prezzie opening morning. Maybe you all drove home via a rad picnic spot the next day. However it happens, having that second unplanned day to just chill, take it all in and simply 'be' with all of your favourite people - that day is arguably even more fantastic than the wedding day itself (did I just say that out loud...??).
Keep Calm and Hire a Wedding Planner
If you're not loving the wedding planning process - you're totally going about it all wrong. Us wedding planners literally live and breath wedding planning. We are here for you every single step of the way - and that doesn't necessarily mean we'll break the bank either. Ultimately, all we want, is for you to reconnect with that wedding planning joy you had right at the beginning, you know, that excitement you had when you and your partner first started pinning a few possibilities...?
Worried about crying during your wedding ceremony?
If you're someone who's worried that you'll ruin your vows with crying - firstly, don't be! Crying is totally normal and it's absolutely fine if you have to stand up there for half an hour blubbering to just get those few important words out. Maybe just let your planner know so they can schedule some extra time in... kidding!
Planning a nature-inspired and eco-friendly wedding?
Reducing your wedding emissions just got a whole lot easier! Less Stuff More Meaning now have a suuuper easy to use carbon footprint calculator, especially designed for your wedding. I'd be lying if I said I didn't geek out a little and go through it with all the retrospective data from my own wedding... (don't mind me - I'll just be over here purchasing a few trees to offset those emissions).
Mismatched Wedding Colours
Having your VIP's and wedding crew up there next to you in mismatched clothing has grown ever so popular and is an awesome way to let your crew have a little of their own personalities and style show through, but did you know there are actually tonnes of other perks to opting for mismatched too?
Eco-friendly Adventure Weddings NZ
Did you know that 80% of our trees, ferns and flowering plants are found only in Aotearoa? Pair that with the knowledge that more than 4,000 of our plants and animals are threatened or at risk of extinction and it starts to sound pretty scary huh?

Wedding Planning - Testimonial from a Bride

On your wedding - take time for you
Wedding Tip: Schedule a moment into your day, reserved just for the two of you. Taking time out to reflect on your day and just be together is oh-so-important and something that gets so easily skimmed over or missed! It's easy to think that there'll be plenty of time for loving each other, but actually, on the day, things tend to move so quickly and there's so many different people and activities commanding your attention, it's easy to forget why you're there in the first place!
Is your wedding full of mindful and considered purchases?
Are you proud of the brands businesses you're supporting with your wedding purchases? Can you look back and say with pride, I made those decisions consciously and with purpose? Knowing who truly made your wedding possible and building your wedding with conscious brand decisions can give you that extra sense of contentment, love and just overall satisfaction with your wedding day. After all, your changing the world one baby step at a time - now that's gotta be worth the effort!
