Mein Kampf, or "My Struggle", written by Adolf Hitler in 1925. The content of the book is well known for its blatant aggression against political enemies, democracy, and Hitler's "enemy race" of the German people: the Jews. The book, though widely disseminated (by the Nazi rise to power in January 1933, over 240,000 copies had been sold), was not widely read. Many had it in their homes as a staple item. The book effectively became the basic plan for the "New Germany."
