Hands-on Water Cycle Fun! Create a mini water cycle using a rotisserie chicken container and demonstrate cloud formation in a jar.
This FREE collaborative activity is aligned to 8th grade math standards. Students will work in groups to analyze graphs, sketch graphs based on descriptions, and create scenarios and model them with appropriate graphs. Perfect for an Algebra 1 class and is also relevant in science courses! Students will love working cooperatively to understand more deeply how to analyze graphs. Students will understand differences between distance and speed graphs and distance from home v total distance.
