Over the last week I've been attending a Maori Art taster course. During those 4 days we had to complete our NCEA booklet and also create a piece of Maori Art on some MDF board. The one above is mine, using the Koiri patterns and those three colors. Its approximately 80cm x 20cm.

Shane Hansen is a Maori Artist based in Aotearoa New Zealand. He creates original paintings, limited edition prints and a range of objects and products. His artwork is mostly themed around native birds, his heritage and connection to the land.
