Inspired by the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto who discovered that our thoughts can influence the quality of the water we drink. I am putting key words on simple coasters and resting a glass of water on the coaster before drinking it!
"Hope" is a powerfully aspirational word. It captures a feeling of expectation and desire. Hope is believing that something good may happen. This is a strong marble Coaster just ready to impart it's power into your glass of water. (Ref. Dr. Masaru Emoto's breakthrough work.)
I'm having fun designing four mugs in this set. Each mug will feature a word from my life-mantra. The four aspirations are: Happy, Healthy, Wise and Wealthy. I've been enjoying that Mantra for years now and I'm delighted with the results! I'll be featuring the mantra on both mugs and marble coasters.
You have guests for dinner. They will have some fun sorting out their "Word Art" coasters, each with a theme. When they leave, your can surprise them by gifting them with a coaster. I'm also preparing a similar set on coffee mugs.
Pink is the colour of Joy. And who doesn't admire a rose? I'll be preparing a set of "Flower Coasters" because I love flowers, especially roses and geraniums. Do you have any suggestions for future Coaster designs? What a charming fit the whole set would be!
Beautiful Mask of Joy on ancient stone Coaster. Stone Coaster
"Mask of Joy". I wanted to capture the colours of Joy for this ancient tribal smiling mask. This is one of a set of "Joy Coasters" that I'm preparing. I thought the set would make for a fine gift for your valued friends.
"Thank You" are two of my very favourite words. They are so warm and appreciative. My gorgeous Pussycat feels the warmth, so she's taking a "cat nap". When people say "Thank you" to me I feel like I want to do more - because it's obviously appreciated. This unusual marble Coaster would make a lovely gift I think. In fact I'm doing a whole series of "Thank you" Coasters.
I wanted to present Hope in modern colours rather than the usual traditional colours. I made it as a coaster but now that I see it, I think it might be a rather delightful and up-lifting piece of home decor. A good gift to have up your sleeve.
I wanted to capture some of the colours we traditionally associate with the word "Love". Would this marble coaster be a suitable gift for someone special in your life? They may never use it except as a piece of home decor!
Oh to be wealthy! But I am! No, I didn't win the Lottery. I simply changed my understanding of "Wealthy". When I looked round I discovered so much beauty in my life. Family, friends, my design work, my stunning garden. But my bank account? The amazing thing is I always, always seem to have enough. Everything is covered. Everything. So what's with the "Wealthy" Coaster? My aspiration is to attract more money so that I have more to give away.
My Mum used to say to me "Count Your Blessings." Good advice. I've since learned that when I do count them, I seem to attract more of them! Rather like, "where you look is where you go." The white rose on the marble coaster is a blessing. Roses speak to me of God.
This style of design has been hugely popular. It's a bit dated now but I've given it a fresh coat of paint. What an attractive marble coaster to add to your home decor. (How about a set of these on your dining room table!) Or maybe just a warm gift for family and friends. I'm sure the power word "LOVE' carries a beautiful vibration within it.
