At 5,560 feet high, New Zealand’s Mitre Peak, nestled along the shores of Milford Sound, quite possibly the most beautiful corner of the South Island’s Fiordland National Park, is said by many to be the world’s highest sea cliff, though technically it’s more of a steep mountain than a true cliff face.
