Era: "I had just began to peel the potatoes for dinner..." (Yezierska 1) During the time period there was a lot of immigrants and many of those families were poor. (237) This is what I imagine the dining car to look like and seeing Sara eat in such a luxuries place. It displays the setting that higher classed people were use to in the late 19th century.

This is a very important point that makes up his character. I imagine him being somewhat "handsome" but a very cocky personality.
