Lewis Grizzard, Jr [Half of cremated remains] - American writer and humorist, known for his Southern demeanor and commentary on the American South. Although he spent his early career as a newspaper sports writer and editor, becoming the sports editor of the Atlanta Journal at age 23, he is much better known for his humorous newspaper columns in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was also a popular stand-up comedian & lecturer.

"Somebody's going to get stung." The 1906 cartoon depicts a UGA football player being attacked by a yellow jacket. This is the first instance that the Georgia Tech sports teams were officially referred to at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, after John Heisman stated he only wanted his team referred to as Yellow Jackets in a 1905 interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Former names of the team include the Golden Tornadoes, the Ts, the Engineers and the Blacksmiths.
