Brenda asks: I fell and badly sprained my left ankle. I have done this about three or four times. While in the E.R., one of the doctors pulled down on my good ankle and said that my ankles were "loose" and I needed to strengthen them. I have been running for over 10 years and thought I was in pretty good shape. I don't think I would have twisted my ankle if I hadn't come down on a piece of gravel. Do you know any good ankle exercises I can do?
