November 8, 2011  Former First Ladies To Speak At Texas A  Former first ladies Barbara Bush and Laura Bush will be joined by former staff members, historians and White House insiders at the “America’s First Ladies: An Enduring Legacy” conference Tuesday (Nov. 15) at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A University.

Barbara Bush..the wife of the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush, and served as First Lady of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Transplanted to Texas - her son, George W was our 43rd President. She and George H retired to Houston. His Library is at TAMU in College Station.

President Bush Sr. & Mrs Barbara Bush...met at Camp David (Presidential Retreat), in 1991, when my late husband was stationed there. Mrs. Bush held my middle child in her arms not long after she was born. :)
