"I no longer look for the good in people, I search for the real ..." -Chishala Lishomwa

I no longer look for the good in people, I search for the real. because while good is often dressed in fake clothing, real is nakes and proud no matter the scars.

My circle is so small I almost cut myself off

I'm am very isolated from people now . I just got to the point in my life where I'm sick of being disappointed . I need to heal enough t so as not to expect anything less .

Sometimes you just have to accept that some people are shitty humans and stop trying to see the good that isn't there. - It's takes a lot for me to believe someone is a shitty human being, but once I do, I'm done.

I never knew you could be so disappointed in another human being. Just when you get to the point where there's not much else to be disappointed about in someone then bam they do something else to show there is really no end to that person's failure as a human. You are truly a despicable failure at everything you do. Will this ever cease to amaze me. Why am I surprised? Because I thought maybe there was a speck of that person you used to be or at least what we thought you were but no. Where…

The biggest disappointments in our lives are often the result of misplaced expectations.

Simple things become complicated when you expect too much. Expectation truly is the root of all heartache.

I feel like no one cares about me often.. I'm always the "weird" or "creepy" one in school, and at home I'm a disappointment..

I care so once again pick my butt up off the ground and see what gods got in store for me moving forward. Still don't mean I don't hiss her like the air I breath!

There is truth to this. Our society encourages robot-like numbness, but some things need to be fully felt in order to process them properly.

Wow, so true. I guess it is too much to try and see your kid when you are in town. It doesn't surprise me though, they wouldn't even walk across the yard to see him when he was little why should that change now.

Some people act stupid when all it is laziness, & no respect. And we're expected to be patient & do all the interactions, talking, running around& while the 'stupid' person sits back & watches .

There is truth in this, however, life’s purpose isn’t about avoiding disappointment. In most things the most growth comes from mistakes, failures, and pain. Don’t be afraid to intelligently, deliberately experience new things, that is what life is for. “As iron sharpens iron,    so one person sharpens another.” “If you’re not failing     you’re not trying.”

Users and Takers are a bummer but a part of life.... Lower your expectations and you'll never be disappointed with the negative aspects of human nature. Stay true to your goodness anyway. Good actions manifest into good lives...
