How would you raise this entire site by 2 metres? In 2011 we provided a ground investigation in Seaton Devon for a new housing development and Tesco superstore. To comply with flood risk assessments the entire site had to be raised by around 2 metres - requiring 300000m of fill material.  To avoid disruption on the roads we brought this in by barges and a temporary pipeline. Not only did this cause minimal disruption to local residents it had cost and environmental benefits for the client…
