We did not want our guest to have to stare at our tools/lawn equipment so we ended up wrapping the entire garage with rolls of plastic table clothes. A staple gun was used to secure the plastic to the ceiling and again at the bottom of the wall. Then we finished off the look with streamers and tissue paper puffs. The total cost for this project was less than $20. The end result turned out looking like a fun circus tent! Far better than we had imagined.

Curtains were bulk sheets from Amazon - using safety pins attached to 97c shower curtain rings which were hung on leftover bamboo from the garden attached to the ceiling with zip ties and screw eyes. Decorated with icicle lights. Centerpiece was a hula hoop wrapped in icicle lights.

My nephew, Kevin, graduated from high school this year, and I had lots of fun helping out with the decorations at his graduation party. Given that his future plans are to become an auto mechanic, it was perfectly fitting that the party was going to be held in the family garage! Outside, we set up …

My favorite graduation party ideas were the decorations we hung from the garage ceiling. Dozens of circle-shaped decorations dangled and spun in the breeze.
