Nothing beats Japanese beef. This from my favorite Yakiniku restaurant in Japan.

Clear Onion Soup (like Japanese steakhouse). I used this recipe except it needed something: some beef boullion. I used a 1/2 cube to 1c water. Also I think I will use sauteed mushrooms next time. I did cook them in the broth for a while which made em better, but sauteed will be best. Topped with Frech's fried onions instead. Very good!

Recipe for Air Bread Philly Cheesesteak, a creation of molecular gastronomy by Chef Jose Andres of The Bazaar restaurant in Los Angeles. (The air bread seems easy to make: a yeasted dough is refrigerated overnight. The next day roll it and cut squares and place them on a tray in the oven to puff. When serving, fill a syringe with warm cheese sauce (recipe included) and fill the "air bread". Top with sea salt/kobe meat/chopped mushrooms etc.)
