Limburger cheese- yep, I actually tried it.  This site will tell you that for many the distictive aroma of this cheese is both the beginning and end of  ones acquaintance with this cheese.  It actually does taste better than it smells, but I did not like the consistency of this cheese.  I had 2 pieces of it, and that was enough for me.  Not my favorite cheese, but I would try it again.
