Оmelyan Kovch (1884 — 1944) was a Ukrainian Greek-Catholic priest. In December 30, 1943 he was arrested by the Gestapo for harboring Jews, specifically for providing Jews with more than 600 baptismal certificates. In August 1943 after refusing to sign a pledge about refusing to help others he was deported to Majdanek. On March 25, 1944 he was gassed at Majdanek concentration camp.

Hermine Braunsteiner, female camp guard in Ravensbrück and Majdanek, nicknamed "The Stomping Mare" because of she killed women by stomping on them with her steel-studded jackboots.

Hermine Braunsteiner, at Majdanek, selected women and children for execution, and whipped/stamped women to death. Nazi-hunters tracked her to USA. At her 1975 trial in Germany, a witness told how she “seized children by their hair and threw them on trucks heading to the gas chambers.” She directly murdered 80 people, abetted the murder of 102 children, and collaborated in the murder of 1,000 people. She was released in 1996 for health reasons. She died in 1999.

Martin Gottfried Weiss was an SS-Obersturmbannführer and commandant of various concentration camps in the Third Reich including Dachau and Lublin-Majdanek. Shortly after he reached Majdanek, there occurred one of the worst massacres of Jewish people when an estimated 17,000 were killed in one day. After the war, Weiss was arrested by the US and was put to trial along with 39 other SS. He was found guilty and hanged on May 29, 1946.
