Medal of Honor recipient, Korean War veteran & Special Forces legend US Army Col. (ret.) Ola Lee Mize died at age 82, according to the Medal of Honor Society . He died on March 13th,  2014 after lengthy illness. Awarded the Medal of Honor for actions on June 10th & 11th, 1953 near Surang-Ni, Korea when the enemy launched heavy attack against “Outpost Harry,” according to his award citation. He received the award in 1954 when he was a master sergeant.
