Math - metric system Here's a simple printable to help students convert between different units of measurement in the metric system.

"Changing linear Units"--- this is a great method to use when introducing children to conversions---this visual is so helpful. It establishes that foundation for the metric system and makes it less complicated for children to understand when they are multiplying or dividing by 10, 100, or 1,000 when they are changing linear units. This visual has been a huge success with my 4th grade class and they love reciting the "silly" sentence to go with each linear unit! Good luck!
