1924 Gibson F5 Lloyd Loar. I've played 3 or 4 of these Loar era mandolins (I think there may be as many as 250 in existence). And while I recognize the historical value of these instruments, they are no better or worse than modern mandolins. And the modern ones will cost you less then 10% of the $175,000 asking price on this one!
