I'm white and I'm trying to learn Spanish because there a lot of Hispanic people in my state, and I really want them to feel safe, what with Trump being our president.

I personally want to learn languages because I want to travel and just want to know languages for fun, not to look good on resumes, but this is important. People in America who don't speak English are not treated the same.
