Pastelito de carne is Spanish for meat filled pastry. It’s a puff pastry filled with savory picadillo and topped with a sweet glaze. Pastelitos de carne can be found in Cuban cafeterias all over Miami. traditionally, the picadillo in the pastelitos is made with ground beef, but I use ground turkey in this recipe. Don’t worry though, all the flavor is there thanks to a mix of veggies, Spanish olives and spices.
