Poème perpétuel "La rose et le chien", Tristan Tzara et Pablo Picasso. Il s’agit d’un « poème perpétuel » dont le texte est imprimé   sur des volvelles (disques de papier cartonné qui tournent, procédé existant depuis le XVIe siècle) montés concentriquement avec un quatrième disque gravé à l'eau-forte par Picasso, le tout monté sur une gravure. La rotation des volvelles fait apparaître des organisations de mots différentes, d'où le titre de Poème perpétuel.
