The Statue of Zeus at Olympia was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and was reported to be nearly 12m high with a golden staff and orb. Designed by Russell Soren Larsen it was built by Mitchell Kruikand Troy Walker in 42 hours using just over 6,600 bricks.
After a trip to Japan, Ryan was determined to recreate one of Japan's feudal castles. The real Himeji Castle is a massive structure built on a large hill with an imposing curved stone base wall. Builders Troy Walker and Ryan McNaught spent a LONG time jamming slopes, bricks and plates together to recreate the stone pattern. The castle altogether uses just over 71,000 bricks and took 185 hours to build.
