Army SGT. Frank M. Sandoval, 27, of Yuma, Arizona. Died June 18, 2007, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Died in Palo Alto, California of injuries sustained in Tikrit, Iraq, on November 25, 2005, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. SGT. Sandoval died at the Palo Alto VA Hospital following brain surgery.
