3.  Your GarageSkins panels are packaged so that the first panel in the box is the first to install, the next is the next to install, etc.  Small white stickers identify where that panel is placed according to the grid in the written directions.

4.  Raise your garage door so that the lowest panel is roughly chest-high.

5.  Place the first panel so that the edge is roughly 1 inch from the edge of the garage door, not the framing.

6.  Pick up the first GarageSkins panel and install at the lower left of the garage door.

7.  Make sure the top of each panel is aligned with the top of the garage door's metal panel.

8. Continue installing the lower panels, working to the right.  The panels will be packaged in order of installation.

9.  It's important at this point to center all the panels to the opening.  Do this by adjusting the outer panels so that the space to the weatherstripping is roughly equal, then adjust the interior panels accordingly.

10.  Working upwards and from left to right, install the rest of the panels until you reach the top row.

11.  To install the top panels, lower your garage door all the way then open slightly so that the upper metal panels is slightly away from the framing.  Then install the left panel by sliding under the weatherstripping leaving a small gap at the bottom which will be adjusted later.

12.  Your next panel in the box will be for the far right uppermost section.  Install this before the center panels to make sure you get all edges under the weatherstripping.

13.  Then fill in the remaining center panels.  If you have a single car garage door, there will be no center panels.

14.  Pull each upper panel down to where it aligns with the bottom of the top garage door panel.  Then snug all panels below it up to it.  This will ensure maximum clearance when you raise and lower your garage door.
