Maori Tiki Face Carving
#S229 This authentic Maori Tiki Face is beautifully hand carved in New Zealand from richly grained native hardwoods, then smoothed and polished. It is 6" tall x 4-1/2" wide x about 3/4" thick. Two 3/8" diameter paua (abalone) shell circles are inlaid for the eyes. The face features intricate carved designs with cut out circles around the tongue. There is a hole on the back so it is easy to to display as a treasured work of authentic indigenous Maori art. Excellent craftsmanship!
