Chile Solar Eclipse Tours 2019 and 2020

One of my oldest photos from Chile and still one of my favourites. This little boat shed (house really) sits on the Valdivian wetlands that are home to hundreds of endangered black neck swans. It's one of the most tranquil places I know!

For those unfamiliar with my personal work - this is the kind of photo I specialize in: Portraits of Classical Musicians. Why? Because I am one! I've been a concert cellist for 20 years, although now my focus (ahem) is firmly on photography. This beauty is @carantxitacello - she and her quartet @las4estaciones_cuarteto are the rising superstars of Classical music in Chile. I can't wait to get back there and photograph them in late 2019! Up close glow worms look less like stars, and more like alien jellyfish...

Graffiti is just better in Chile... In Valparaiso it's actively encouraged. Artists take their time and the city is alive with colour.

Few sites are as spectacular as Sao Paulo from up high. This mega city sparkles in the night like a mighty dragon's hoard.

Fishermen risk life and limb casting their rods in almost complete darkness. Their green headlamps illuminating the rocks. The gannets above are completely oblivious...

The pier over Lake Llanquihue. You could easily mistake Frutillar for a Swiss or German city nestled in the Alps. This Chilean getaway is all about opera and cake, boasting one of the world's finest opera houses.
