Rebuilding earthquake-damaged schools

A series of huge earthquakes struck Nepal in 2015, killing 9,000 people and destroying homes and key infrastructure, including schools. The Himalayan Trust is building and repair of over 180 classrooms, as well as hostels and toilet blocks, at 33 schools across the Everest region. All the buildings will meet the latest seismic building codes.
