Long wait at the emergency department and limited time so I ended up having to do this myself at home. Difficult to sew with one hand so I went with surgical staples. If you're doing this at home it's important to have an iodine surgical scrub pad and the ability to explore and probe to ensure you have no tendon or ligament damage.
