It is super fun activity. Here i used the rainbow rice which I had used in sensory play. Here little one learns to scoop and pour along with the shapes. Visual motor skills like filling and pouring are important skills that are developed in early years. This helps in hand and eye coordination and to understand the math concepts like less or more. It is also more fun to learn shapes in this way.
