In this episode I taste Matariki Quintology 2007 Hawke’s Bay. Matariki Quintology grapes are grown on the world class viticultural area known as ‘The Gimblett Gravels. The Gimblett Gravels is a free draining old river bed. This makes the vines struggle and helps produce pure ripe fruit. The heat from the river stones is released over night and helps with ripening of the fruit. 92 Points 5 stars RRP $80
