Connecticut Summer Programs: Play-Well TEKnologies provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to children, ages 5 – 14, using LEGO®. Our curriculum is designed by engineers, building on the math and science skills students learn during the school year.
MPS: Milwaukee Public Schools
The first annual MPS Lego Robotics Competition was held at Escuela Vieau on Saturday February 11, 2012. Five teams participated in the community Lego League event. Teams polished their skills in preparation for next school year's fall qualifying events. Wedgewood Park IB School's team won the overall award, while the team from Rufus King Middle Years Campus was named 'Rookie of the Year.' The team from Cooper Elementary shined as well, winning First Place in Core Values, Robot Design & Project.
