Paintings I have completed. Most are oils, some are acrylics. Some are studies of other artists' paintings. I'm only a beginner and still copying and learning, to feel my way around before I arrive at my own style I guess. I first started painting lessons in January 2010 here in Christchurch New Zealand. Then came the earthquakes and closed down the studio which was in the Central Business District in town. So a few months of no painting and then I found someone closer by to paint with :-).
This is Shandel, a daughter of Triomph and Etoile (our French imported foundation bitch). She is from our second litter, a rare sand colour. Pretty lousy photo of the painting, but I'm not good at photography. The reflected light always gets me.
These two little paintings I did to practice working wet on wet. The Lady in Blue was a picture on a calendar I have by a local artist. Good practice studying more experienced artists and their styles :-).
This one is called "Kooky" and is from a picture I found on the internet of an Australian Kookaburra. It is my second painting, which I painted simultaneously with the one of Fendi (my very first painting) when I started painting classes.
