This New Zealand Piwakawaka bird has been cut out of firm black paper using my amazing cuttting machine. (I design it it, cuts it for me!) I have included removable adhesive so you can very easily decorate your wall. I love the way a subtle shadow is created. I have sold these to customers who frame them too! The fantail is about A4/ 8 x 10 inches in size, it looks great with the Tui papercut too

Inked Fantail
Vibrant Fantail
This is another in my ongoing 'sketchy' series, a combination of watercolour and inked backgrounds. This piece is of a cheerful little fantail perched confidently on a branch. The background consists of native bush and Kowhai flowers.
Colourful Fantail
This little Fantail was inspired by geometric shape art, it incorporates may colours while still maintaining a few 'true' colours to the bird. The eye was an important feature for me on this one and I wanted it to be bold and to capturing sole of the painting.

2 Little Fantails
This piece was done on commission, it was requested that the painting was done in a similar style to that of my 'Elephant Splash' art work. The colours encourage the playful nature of these little birds and helps us to portray them in a new light.

New Zealand Native Birds
A series celebrating New Zealand native bird species. Whether you live in New Zealand or whether you’re just visiting the country, you can’t miss the omnipresence of birds. New Zealand is a place where birds still fly quite freely and relatively fearlessly of a human. This enables us to observe and admire many species, sometimes right from
The secret life of birds
This trip is already starting to feel like a precursor to Little Huia, where I shall become one with the bird empire! While doing long drives I alternate between three audio narratives: music, Japa…
