FINALLY engaged! SO sweet. When Michael was making fun of Jim while they were helping him plan his proposal to be safe, I wanted to bop him. SO sweet. Jim was at the end of his rope, missing Pam at art school. So though they planned to wait til she came home to get engaged, he got her to meet him halfway at a rest stop on the turnpike for lunch. It was pouring but Jim just walked up, dropped his suit coat on the wet ground, got on one knee telling her he couldn't wait and did it. The final 'Dunder Mifflin this is Pam. This was such an awesome part of the finale and these writers, producers etc. were brilliant to think to include it. It took us back to the roots where Pam sat at the reception desk and Jim was a bored salesman but reminded us that those were no longer their roles when Pam uttered 'I'm sorry. I think I love it even more because I've heard Jenna Fischer talk so often and so fondly about the season 2 scene on the roof on The Client. She mentions it a lot as her favorite memory and talks about how it felt really romantic and there weren't a lot of crew members so it was kinda secluded, she just gets this look in her eyes and you can tell it's really special to her.
