Top Art Exhibition - Photography » NZQA  I did a major study in surrealism. This included photography, films and paintings. Linking surrealism to dreams was an obvious choice for me.  Due to the quirkiness of most of the photographs in my art work, heavy use of Photoshop was required.

I fell in love with the Art of the French Revolutions especially the earlier Rococo style and the works of Ingres. I wanted to explore the aesthetics of these works in a modern day setting, specifically how they would relate and contrast. I wanted it to look modern in the way it was put together. I focused on it looking clean and polished, with an emphasis on luxury and the over the top style of old portraits.
