Naturist clubs throughout New Zealand will be celebrating their healthy lifestyle by holding various events during 'gonatural Week'. Some clubs are holding open days inviting individuals, couples and families to visit and discover the many benefits of naturism for good health and well being. We hope that you can accept our invitation to visit one of these venues and have the opportunity to meet some members and to better understand what naturism is all about.
Holidays NZnaturally - a comprehensive booklet on accommodation and camping options for all New Zealand naturist and naturist friendly homestays, B, resorts and clubs - is now available. Recently updated, this publication is available in printed format, as an e-guide (PDF format) and now also on CD. The guide includes up to date contact details, maps and directions on where to spend your next naturist holiday in New Zealand.
Katikati Naturist Park is on the market. Owners Kevin and Joan Sampson say any buyers of the Katikati Naturist Park, northwest of Tauranga, must keep it as a clothing-optional camp for 10 years. The memorandum of encumbrance for the 10-year period was about the limit of what could be expected and the new buyers would probably have to be naturists themselves. The 5.7 hectare property attracts 16,000 people a year and won a Tourism Industry Association award for holiday parks in 2008.
Every year, the NZ Naturist Federation holds an annual rally to coincide with the AGM. The rally runs for 7 days and includes a full sports programme, with trophies fiercely fought for. In addition, the host club puts on entertainment each day and evening. In 2012-13 the rally will be hosted by Wellington Naturist Club. Celebrate with us as we farewell the last Age of Pisces and welcome in the new Age of Aquarius. The Festival is a chance to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.
