Virtual field trip: Smart Motorways - technologies making roads safer and more sustainable. Term 3 starting 25 August 2015. On this trip you are off to Wellington to see how an existing busy motorway can be made smart. You will go behind the scenes to see how the urban motorway (Johnsonville to the Terrace Tunnel) is being converted into a smart motorway. This is a first for New Zealand.
