I took this photo early one November morning a few years ago after we'd had a heavy freezing rain the night before. The trees were covered in a thick layer of ice that gave the branches a beautiful gleam like millions of crystals in the sunshine.
My grandparent's would bring me here on outings, we used to watch the coal trains wind their way across the mountain on the other side of the valley. Absolutely gorgeous place, you definitely should make time to visit if you can.
