The entrance to the Jimbo and Rex cafe delights the senses with a mix of hard surfaces including brick, timber and stone. The decorative plates add another playful element that invites you deeper into the space.
A number of these decorative glass panels define the walkway in the Etihad Lounge at the Abu Dhabi airport. The strategically placed panels guide the pedestrian to various sections of the lounge without intruding on others using the various spaces. The decorative pattern also reflects a modern take on the traditional use of pattern in Arabic interiors, while the glass gives a lightness to the structures.
The vertical timber slats of the wall behind the counter gives height to the wall which sits in a very voluminous space within the crown complex. The timber also juxtaposes beautifully with the marble counter.
