Ilex crenata 'Cherokee'  11160 - Japanese holly  Japanese holly is often mistaken for box and in many ways they are very similar. Ilex crenata is perfect for topiary and hedging and has the advantage of being resistant to leaf spot, rust and box blight. White flowers in May-June followed by small, shiny black berries in autumn.
