I adapted this rainbow idea to fit my high school classroom and teaching about goals. Also, I had each of my students write a goal on the side of a butterfly that faces the wall. I told them that each time they look at the board, they are to remind themselves to continue to work on their goals.

A colorful, uplifting motivator for students. Students write a goal on the wings of a butterfly. When they look at the board, they have a visual reminder of their individual goal(s) and that they should continue to work towards them.

And put some fabric flowers on the blades with mod podge it came out pretty well! Completely shabby chic which was my goal! And not boring to look at anymore!..... Hmmm. Ceiling fan???

Title: No. 5 Artist: Jackson Pollock, 1948 I find this piece intriguing because of Pollock's use of color and technique. While I may be a few million short, it is a goal in my life to own a Pollock original.
