Develops: Visual perception of depth and dimension, helps observe surroundings with a greater knowledge of height, length, width, and depth, helps with fine motor skills, writing readiness-the fingers and thumb form the pencil grip.
We introduced Montessori Sensorial gustatory work this month, developing and refining the children's sense of taste. Identifying sweet (honey), salty (veggie stock), sour (lemon) and bitter (cranberry juice) was a favourite group activity.
