Child's Bean Bag crafted for my Goddaughter Sienna's 3rd birthday. I didn't have time to make the beanbag (I had every intention on making one, honestly). Anyway, I cheated and bought one but there are some fab free patterns for making beanbags on Pinterest. I did make the letters though and sewed them onto the bag using free motion embroidery. I've never done machine embroidery before so watched a few tutorials and loved doing it. It actually turned out OK I thought but don't zoom in : )
Made for my Mum for Xmas. Using my favourite bag pattern off Pinterest I machine embroidered poppy's onto the red hessian fabric (my Mums favourite colour and flower). She loved it and uses it ALL of the time : )
I wanted to make a beach bag for my mother-in-law (she goes on holiday A LOT) and by tweaking a pattern I found on: somethingturquoise.com. I made a His & Hers beach bag. My father-in-law always wants to sneak his bits into the bag too and always ends up carrying it. One side is yellow with an appliqued 'hers' and the other side is dark blue with an appliqued 'his'. My father-in-law can carry it with the dark blue side showing and still feel manly. : ) The lining is a cute donkey fabric.
Natural hessian messenger bag. Handmade using an old leather belt as the handle. Pattern retrieved off Pinterest. It was made for a friend who was going on holiday and needed somewhere to put all the kids gadgets.
