Lake Mir is in the Telašćica Nature Park, Croatia. Lake Mir sits in a narrow area of land between the bay of Telašćica and the sea and has a set of underground channels which connect it with the sea, which make it a saltwater lake. The salinity in the lake is high which means there aren’t to many sea creatures in the lake however there is a type of eel that lives in the lake called a bižat, which grows up to 3 kilograms.
