Gone to Texas...

Gone to Texas - the phrase was often written on the doors of abandoned houses or posted as a sign on fences. Gone to Texas (often abbreviated GTT), was a phrase used by Americans immigrating to Texas in the century.

This is an activity to review the events leading to the Texas Revolution and major events in the revolution. It is perfect for a formative assessment or a review activity prior to a test. Your ELL learners will benefit from activities such as this from the visuals and discussion opportunities created.
