Ancient walled City of Kano, northwest Africa. Kano city walls are 14/kms radius of earth structure. They were built to provide security to the city's growing population. Foundation for construction was started by Sakri Gijimasu in 1095 – 1134AD, and completed in middle of 14th century during reign of Zamnagawa. Originally a mixed religious city, It was converted to Islam in the 15th century.
