Surya Namaskar = Salutation To Sun. Firstly, let’s start with the Surya Namaskar pose that is a salutation to the sun which will help your body stretch from head to toe. It is as similar to warm up you do before any dance or exercise workout.

The Bow Pose is one of the power packed yoga exercises to lose weight but it is of a higher difficulty level and usually requires a lot of practice, unless you are super flexible. This asana strengthens the abdominal muscles, tones the arms and legs, enhances flexibility of the back and relieves stress and fatigue.

The bow pose is an intermediate-level backbend wherein the body resembles that of a stretched-out bow. The arms, stretched out backwards resemble the taught string and it is pulled tight by the strength of the body and the legs.

Eka Pada Pranamasana, One Legged  Prayer Pose

Eka Pada Pranamasana or the one-legged prayer pose is a balancing asana. In Sanskrit, Eka means one, Pada means foot, Pranama means prayer and Asana means pose.


The Paschimottanasana is a calming yoga pose that helps the neck, back, calves and hamstrings stay flexible. It is the start to more advanced yoga poses.
