Greek Gigantes are, not surprisingly, GIANT beans! In this recipe, the gigantes are slow cooked in a rich tomato sauce until perfectly creamy and tender. Serve over toasted crusty bread for an easy vegetarian meal!
Greek Bean Soup with Carrots tomato and Celery (Fasolada). I added chili flake, extra tomato paste, and bullion/salt because it was a little bland. I also blended some of the beans/veggies at the end to thicken it up.
